• Q: Are the traction studs reusable?
  A: Yes, traction studs can be removed after winter if they remain in good condition and reused for the next season.

• Q: Where do you ship from? How long does delivery take?
  A: All orders are shipped from Hunan, China. Delivery usually takes 7–15 business days, depending on the destination country.

• Q: Will I receive a tracking number after the order is shipped?
  A: Yes, once your order is shipped, we’ll send a tracking number via email so you can follow your parcel in real time.

  Q: Can I change the shipping address after placing an order?

  • A: Tungsten carbide offers extreme hardness and wear resistance (HRA 86-90), ensuring the studs maintain their anti-slip performance much longer than standard steel studs in harsh winter conditions.

  • A: Our studs feature a galvanized or stainless steel body to prevent corrosion from road salt and moisture, ensuring they remain structurally sound throughout the winter season.

• Q: How many studs do I need to install per tire?

  • A: For standard passenger cars, we recommend 100–150 studs per tire. For heavy-duty machinery or large off-road tires, you may need 200–300 studs to ensure optimal traction.

• Q: Can these studs be used on paved roads without snow?

  • A: While designed for ice and snow, our screw-in studs can handle short distances on pavement. However, prolonged use on dry asphalt may increase noise and accelerate wear on both the studs and the road surface.

• Q: Are these studs compatible with non-studded tires?

  • A: Yes, our screw-in design is specifically made for standard tires without pre-drilled holes. You just need to ensure the tire tread depth is sufficient for the stud's length.

• Q: Do I need professional tools to install Kavonix screw-in studs?

  • A: No, you only need a standard cordless drill and the specialized installation tool included in your package. The process is DIY-friendly and takes about 20–30 minutes per tire.

• Q: Can I remove the studs in the summer and reuse them next year?

  • A: Absolutely. One of the main advantages of our screw-in studs is that they are fully removable and reusable, provided the threads and carbide tips remain in good condition.
