Step 2: Install the Stud

  • Press the auger tip of the stud firmly against a thick rubber knob on the tire.
  • Apply straight, firm pressure while slowly rotating the drill.
  • Continue until the prongs on the tool are fully embedded in the rubber.
  • Ensure the notched collar of the stud sits flush with the tire surface.
  • (Improper depth may cause the stud to fall out during use.)

Step 3: Repeat and Finish

  • Detach the tool from the stud.
  • Repeat the process for the remaining studs.
  • For optimal traction, install studs in a staggered pattern (not in a straight line) to ensure better ground contact.

Important Notes

  • Do not over-tighten after installation.
Over-rotation may damage the tire and affect stud stability.

  • Improper positioning or depth may cause the stud to loosen and fall out during use.

For best results, always remember:

  • Rotate slowly during installation

  • Apply straight downward pressure to fully seat the stud in the rubber
